Begonia Steves Leaves Fang

Created by begonia expert Don Miller at Steve's Leaves, Begonia 'Steve's Leaves Fang' is a striking rex hybrid known for its bold foliage. The cultivar earned its name from the fang-shaped teeth along the leaf margins. Seasonal conditions can influence the leaf coloration, with warmer summer weather often producing softer tones. As temperatures drop, the foliage usually develops deeper, more vivid colors.

My plant is currently grown in average household humidity levels of around 50-60% and has shown rapid leaf development under these conditions. While it grows well in ambient humidity, higher humidity levels can encourage even faster growth and larger foliage. My mother plant receives ambient light and is positioned approximately one foot from a grow light.
