Begonia Acetosa

Begonia acetosa has proven to be an easy and rewarding plant in my collection. My mother plant grows exceptionally well positioned about one foot from a south-facing window, where it receives bright, filtered light throughout the day. It also thrives in typical indoor humidity levels of approximately 50-60%, producing lush growth and maintaining its beautiful coloration. I keep the soil lightly moist while allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings, which helps promote healthy roots and vigorous growth. With its velvety green leaves, striking ruby-red undersides, and relatively easy-care nature, Begonia acetosa is a standout choice for both new growers and experienced begonia collectors.
