Begonia DS-Knowing

Begonia DS- Knowing is a stunning rex hybrid developed by renowned Ukrainian hybridizer Elene Enikeeva in 2020. This distinctive cultivar is celebrated for its dramatic foliage, featuring deeply textured leaves in rich, iridescent shades of purple that deepen to nearly black along the margins. The dark foliage is beautifully contrasted by vibrant petioles, creating a striking and unforgettable display.

With its bold coloration and velvet shimmer, Begonia 'Knowing' brings an air of sophistication and gothic elegance to any plant collection. My mother plant grows a bit slower than others similar to its kind. However, it grows well in higher humidity and can tolerate a bit of drying out between waterings. Although it is a bit slower of a grower in my care, each leaf is so luxurious looking that I consider it worth the wait.
