Begonia Pulsar

Begonia ‘Pulsar’ is a rhizomatous begonia with dark green, palmately shaped leaves edged with fine eyelash-like trichomes. The foliage has a waxy texture and can develop an almost black appearance when grown in lower light conditions. Under these same conditions, the leaves may also display a striking blue iridescent flash.

This variety is sensitive to overwatering and performs best in a well-draining substrate. While my plant grows successfully in ambient household humidity and is a relatively fast grower, it would likely achieve its best growth and appearance in higher humidity conditions.
